The Solution
Design and identify what common customer requests are around season collection planning. Create an online database of Bemis applications to give designers access to information without needing to be in the office.
The Problem
Designers pre-Covid19-lockdown had a hard enough time trying to access samples for season planning.
With lockdown, designers were forced to work from home, often with no access to their trims libraries; working from memory. Designers needed a way to access Bemis designs from home, on the go, and pull images right into digital presentations.
Research and Reception
Implementing the library was incredibly easy. Working with marketing and product development I was able to come up with copy stating benefits for each trim used in the application, create technical flats, link PDF and video versions of the SOPs, and more.
We were also able to implement QR and NFC technology. On future versions of marketing copy, a QR code was added to the back of printed material and NFC chips were added to collection boxes for easy access.
